Last weekend we took the girls to a Rockies vs. Diamondbacks game. It was a Saturday evening game and we had a really fun time. It was really hot (duh, it's July) so the roof was closed. But I don't think that the guy that works the thermostat for the ballpark knew that it was July. It was super toasty inside. Both Matt and I noticed that it was considerably hotter in there than in past years. Maybe with the attendance at the games being lower the Diamondbacks are trying to save money on their energy bill? But, I digress...
We had a great time at the game. We had popcorn, hotdogs, and ice cream. We cheered on the Rockies (even though they lost the game in the first inning) and really enjoyed spending time together as a family.
Our good friends, the Morris', met us at the game too. They have a daughter, Taylor, who is a few months younger than Hayden and a son, Colton, who is a few months younger than Anabelle. Taylor and Hayden love each other and were so excited to see each other. We grown ups were excited to see each other too. :)
