Sweet Dreams

We finally took Anabelle out of her sleep sack last week. We moved her from a swaddle to a sleep sack months and months ago but we decided to leave her in the sleep sack to help her stay warmer at night. It seemed like a good idea until I realized that she's really way too big to still be in one and that it was time to give her a little bit of freedom.

We introduced a knitted blanket that she got from her Great Grandpa Mike and she's been doing really great. It's been taking her a little bit longer to fall asleep at night (freedom = playing) but she really zonks out once she gets comfortable. Yesterday afternoon I went in to check on her during naptime and found her with her little leg stuck in between the bars on her crib. Poor girl! She was sleeping so soundly that I didn't move her and when she finally did wake up she had a red mark on her thigh. I guess freedom also equals getting stuck between the bars.

Stuck or not though, she sure does look peaceful doesn't she?
