So after dinner tonight we went out for ice cream. We went to Desert Ridge for Cold Stone and then sat out by the fountains. The kids hung out in the stroller while we ate ice cream and then we walked around a little bit. Hayden got cotton candy flavored ice cream and Ellie happily sucked on her pacifier.
We put the girls down when we got home and watched the PBS special from the White House. And I hate to admit it, but the air conditioning felt pretty great.

Sounds like a great day. We didn't get out for fireworks this year either...same issue, as it was a "school night" for V. Maybe next year.
